In this scene from Dead Poets Society (1989), the teacher wants to motivate this students to be creative when it comes to thinking and writing in order to develop their minds for English class and for life. Furthermore, he tell them to “find their voice” which will become their identity as a young man and as a writer. No two students will be the same, but rather each will be unique.
