Recently our Culture Club students took a trip to the Houston Street Center to view the Creative Center’s Got Art! exhibit. They had an art-focused workshop led by Creative Center Director Robin Glazer and got to take a work of art home!
In November we restarted Culture Club, which now meets four days a week and has a new teacher, Wendy. So far they have studied the subway system, idioms, holidays, culture shock, and small talk. Here are photos from a theater workshop with the Performance Project’s artists-in-residence, the Square:
