Happy New Year! The Coalition for the Homeless’ First Step Program is currently recruiting for its next free, in-person job training class that focuses on helping women prepare for careers in the Human Services field. The upcoming class will begin on Monday, January 22nd and run through Friday, March 1st. The program takes place every weekday from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm over those six weeks in its offices at 129 Fulton Street in Lower Manhattan.  

To begin the application process, please either complete its referral form HERE or contact them directly by calling the First Step Hotline at 212-776-2074. From there, a member of their team will conduct a brief phone screening to ensure you meet the basic eligibility requirements and then sign you up for an information session to learn about the program in more detail.
