Idiom of the Week: Mr./Miss Know It All

Meaning: Someone who thinks they know everything; someone who thinks they’re always right.

Examples:

“The capital of New York State is Albany, not New York City.” “Thanks, Mr. Know It All.”

Her coworkers didn’t like her. They thought she was a Miss Know It All.

I don’t know. Go ask Mr. Know It All over there.
