Halloween is celebrated every year on October 31st and is one of the most popular holidays in the United States, especially for kids and candy 🍫 🍭 lovers alike. Although it has ancient origins, originally based on the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced β€œsow-in”), today it is mainly a fun and social celebration.

Halloween is also a time to enjoy the spookier side of life. People celebrate ghosts, zombies, haunted houses, and all things creepy and fun – often with Halloween parties for children and adults.

Children dress up in costumes and go door to door saying, β€œTrick or treat!” asking for candy from their neighbors. Many families carve pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns and decorate their homes with spooky displays.Β

Halloween is a chance for people of all ages to enjoy creativity, traditions, and a little bit of harmless fright.
