Meaning: very cheap; extremely inexpensive

Examples:

Apples were dirt cheap at the supermarket, so I bought a lot of them.

“My new phone broke after only a week!” “What did you expect? It was dirt cheap!”

I pay so much for rent in New York, but in my hometown rent was dirt cheap.
